I’m liking iFinance 4
This is a great application for tracking banking and credit card accounts. I migrated from iBank after many years of use. Import from iBank QIF files was seamless. Just export a separate QIF for each account and them import them into iFinance individually. Results = correct balances, correct payees, correct categories, and correct reconcilliations. The default export on iBank is all of your accounts combined. Be sure to export each account individually.
The major difference in the records between iFinance and iBank is that iBank does not have a Title field. Not a problem for me because all other imported records are correct. I use the blank Title field in iFinance to indicate when I imported the data from iBank. I use the Title field in new transactions similarly to how I used the Note field in iBank. The Title field is a change in workflow, but it makes the transaction much more descriptive.
Syncing via iCloud between Macs, iPhone, and iPads works perfectly. Preferences for opening databases and currency symbol location need to be set on each device. Help documentation is downloaded with the app, clearly written, and contains useful graphics. Synium replied to my email questions about switching from the demo to the app and Preference settings on individual devices within minutes.
All-in-all the iFinance series of apps is working extremely well for me.
